General Information
Culture Coach International is a company that provides customized training programs, consulting and business support tools in the areas of diversity and cross-cultural issues. We have been in business since 1998 and have a diverse team of consultants and trainers located in the US and in Ireland. Internships are 10-15 hours a week and must include at least half of the time in the CCI office which is located at 259 Walnut Street in Newton, MA. CCI uses Apple computers and experience working with Macs and Mac applications is a plus.

Curriculum Development (1-3 positions/semester)
Working with the CEO, this position will be developing new curriculum materials to be used in CCI’s programs and as well as in published materials. Topics might include Working with Americans, Working on Multigenerational Teams or Understanding Ireland. This person may also be developing content for upcoming training programs. This position requires someone who can both work independently doing research and writing and also collaboratively when creating ideas. Desktop publishing experience working with InDesign is a plus.

Gen Y Internship (1 position)
CCI has been providing training programs on generations for a number of years. This summer we launched a new product which is titled Managing Gen Y. This is a self-study manual for managers and includes a manager’s guide, an employee briefing book and also team meeting tools to help team members work better together. For more information, please visit: GenYTools.com. This internship will entail working on all aspects of marketing, selling and distributing this new product.

Marketing (1 position)
Culture Coach International’s products and services are diverse. This internship will be focused on helping to develop new marketing ideas to promote CCI. This internship will explore both traditional and online marketing strategies and work to help CCI to implement these strategies. This internship will require both the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in desktop publishing, particularly InDesign and website design a plus. CCI uses Freeway for its website design.

Management (1 position)
What does it take to manage a growing small business? This internship will work closely with the CEO on all aspects of the company including exploring content development, administration, strategic planning, sales and management. This is an opportunity for an aspiring entrepreneur to gain a glimpse into the joys and challenges of running a company. What this internship entails will depend greatly upon the day to day opportunities and challenges that present themselves.

African American Timeline
CCI has produced an interactive Timeline that engages workshop participants in an exploration of the history of African Americans in the USA. The timeline is an opportunity for participants to recognize historical moments and also the contributions of African Americans to American history. This one time internship will work with developers Kari Heistad and Vincent Licenziato to further develop the Timeline and the accompanying facilitator's guide. They will also explore options for producing and selling the timeline.

Writing Internship (1 position)
We are developing a book with stories from both Gen Y employees and managers who have managed Gen Y employees in the workplace. This internship will focus on soliciting first person stories for the book, reviewing and editing the submission, editing the book and helping to produce the book.

Transportation
The office is accessible via the commuter bus from downtown Boston or via commuter rail. Free parking is available. Internships are unpaid, but travel expenses will be reimbursed upon request.
