Psychological Safety

Psychological safety according to Harvard researcher Amy Edmondson in her best selling book the Fearless Organization is  “a belief that one will not be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, concerns or mistakes.”  Building psychological safety within teams and organizations is an integral part of building inclusive team and organizational cultures. 

CCI is certified by Amy's Fearless Organization to assess teams for their levels of psychological safety and to help teams to understand their assessment results and to build action plans for how to improve the levels of psychological safety within the team.

These tools can be used to introduce the topic of psychological safety to your organization and to start to explore how to improve the level of psychological safety within your teams.
